TV screens - Black/Grey or nothing displaying

Please be aware there are 4 sections to this guide


1) Checking power (all devices with black screens)


2) How to make sure the ORB is on the correct input

3) How to make sure Video Walls/DT Order Taking Screens are on the correct input
4) How to make sure all other types of screens are running the Optisigns app


Please ensure you scroll to the correct section




Check Power 


For ORBs Only

You will have a Remote that does NOT have Samsung at the bottom.

Press the Menu button and it should come up on screen if the screen is on. If it isnt please check power.

If you still have issues, please send a picture of your remote in the ticket


 

All other devices

Please find the SAMSUNG remote (Logo at the bottom)

Press the home button (red). If the menu comes up the screen is on.If it isnt please check power 


If you still have issues, please send a picture of your remote in the ticket


  

 

TV on but no content displaying (3 sections based on type screen type)


ORB Screen (if you are not having issue with an orb, please keep going down)

This remote is not a Samsung Remote

Please press the source button and select HDMI1.

 

If HDMI is not showing but HDMI 2 / 3 / 4 is, please try these.

If this still doesn’t work please take a picture of this menu bar and include in the ticket

 

Video Wall/Drive Thru Order Taking Screen  (if you are not having issue with a Video Wall or DT OTS,  please keep going down) 


     

Please make sure you use the Samsung remote


Press the source button and use the left/right arrows to select HDMI 1

 

Then press Ok.

If HDMI is not showing but HDMI 2 / 3 / 4 is, please try these.

If this still doesn’t work please take a picture of this menu bar and include in the ticket.

All Other Screens (Menu, Shatter, Presale, DT Menu)

Please make sure you use the Samsung remote

Use the arrow keys (Green) to come over to the below icon and press OK (Yellow)

 

This should bring your content up. If this does not, please take a photo of the screen and include in the ticket.
